It ain't the prettiest (depending on your tastes, I guess), but I would have snagged it when building my machine, if it was released.

why not get an SFF with an ATI All-in-wonder card and the sound card you want? you could get the 8500 AIW and your problems would be solved...

ATX HTPC's are just not very cool. I 2nd the AIW if find yourself having too many devices.

Some ATI cards DO have HDTV output. However they don't receive HDTV signals. ATI TV tuners for now are for standard analog TV broadcasts. This does bring to the point though that you probably want a ATI card above the 9xxx series in order to output the PC screen to your HDTV at its highest possible resolution. Normal TV outs don't have resolution higher than 800x600p and most HDTV's can display 1280x720p. I don't think an 8500 is compatible with the ATI HDTV component out adapter.
