Same here. I haven't been able to catch the correct timing for the drumbeat after declaring fever.

It helps to constantly tap your foot, nod your head, etc, in order to help you keep the beat. This also applies to the period where your soldiers go a bit wild after going into fever mode.

Just finished the game, ~16hrs played total.

Mogyoons ftw, don't bother with barsala. I managed to get virtually all items in the game (all divine, ~60% ancient, ~80% giant, all other lesser items).
