Is there a way to convert .mid files so they are .midi??

I tried to send myself a .mid to use as a ringtone via MMS, but it said it couldnt open the file and I was told that it needed to have a .midi extension.

sweet phone!!! unfortunately the only way I know with that phone is to download from at&t's website...they did some hack work to the programming on that phone so you cant do alot...like send polyphonics via mms...i dont like that...anyways...you can try a midi converter program like intelliscore but i dont know how well they work...actually i will dl this tonite and play with it...pm me me tomorow and i will let you know how it worked
