I guess we'll just have to "hope" Obama is more gracious in victory than his supporters.

Damn that Obama for using the race card to try to erode Hillary's support! Oh wait, that wasn't Obama, that was Hilldabeast's husband and co-pilot.

Huh? Don't you think it's his graciousness that has him winning?

Gracious like Techs?

Please don't put me in the position of having to defend Techs.

My point is the people supporting Obama's movement of change and hope are just as twisted and viciously gleeful as Clinton's supporters, seeing no end of unearned personal vitriol aimed at her and McCain. Disagree without being disagreeable? Clamor for change in politics but refuse to provide any yourself? Think Obama's going to force sunshine from the top down? We the people elect politicians, so we the people have to change before our politicians will. Clinton supporters, like me, generally don't buy the whole "hope and change" mantra, but if you did buy into it, you can't act like a raving partisan hack in one breath while talking about how we need people who aren't hacks in the next breath. Well you can, but there's a word for people who do that.

Obama will be the biggest populist since FDR! Woo Hoo!

Executives from Walmart were celebrating Obama's win by heading to Hedonism. They stated "that ordinarily we wouldn't do something this drastic in order to celebrate, but this will be truly unbelievable for our bottom line, champagne just seemed too meek for this great news".

Oh well I should shut up, my company is praying for Universal Healthcare to keep us afloat! Medicaid only pays 60% for illegals in Texas, hopefully Obama's plan will supplement that and we can stay in business.

Don't really have anything bad to say about McCain, just Hillary

Twisted and vicious? Clinton has run an absolutely disgusting campaign. She's taking every dirty trick from Karl Rove's playbook and using it on Obama. If she had any grace and decency, she would run a clean campaign, but she's just doing it the 'same old way'. She deserves every criticism she's getting.

This is where we're going to see a real test of polling accuracy. Obama might look like he has a lead over McCain, but that's because they rely on what people say. I'm curious to see what happens when people actually enter the booth and can vote in secrecy. Perhaps I'm cynical, but I suspect McCain is going to end up winning.....

Quite frankly, my interest in worrying about being disagreeable ends when I see two people in the running that are so desperate to be President that they'll either forfeit every belief that made them a "maverick" 8 years ago in order to appeal to parts of the base they need, or are willing to run a despicable campaign that could forfeit a previous President's relatively good legacy and possibly destroy the party in the process.

I'm done being agreeable when people like that put their own personal Moby Dick complexes on display in such public fashion that it makes me fear for the state of the country if either of them are in office.

Furthermore, forget gracious in victory - take a look at the horrendous crap spewed at Obama by those at Hillaryis44.org if you want to complain about people being gracious in defeat OR victory.

Nice play on words but Hillary and her campaign supporters complaining about Obama's campaign supporters need to see the following:

1. Pot calling the kettle black
2. Throwing rocks in glass houses

Before this election started I wasn't for or against Clinton or Obama. After seeing both of them in action I've lost a lot of respect for the Clinton's. Never thought I'd say that because I liked Bill as president but it's the truth.

So Hillary supporters shouldn't be grouped together, but Obama supporters should. Makes sense.

and also has McCain beating the Hildabeast

You're like a schoolkid with your name calling. Obama takes the cake for the most immature jackass supporters, that's for sure.

I'd again point you to Hillaryis44.org , complete insanity over there. People admitting to not having seen more than 90 seconds of Obama and still calling him all sorts of nastiness.

Yep, Hillary seems to be playing the Rovian Book. Except she hasn't a clue as to how it is done.

Indeed, there's ways to run dirty campaigns without appearing to stoop to that level. Politicians of every stripe have learned that over the years. If you're going to play Rove-type games, you'd better be sure you can do it without the appearance of doing so, or having a voting base that doesn't mind you doing so. Clearly, democratic voters have decided that they want no part of a democratic rove-equivalent.

Yeah, when Rove did the 'Would you vote for McCain if you knew he fathered an illegitimate black baby' push poll in south carolina, there was a lot of plausible deniability there. Having your husband come out and race bait obama on the national stage is just plain stupid.

I think it will be looked upon in 2009 (and perhaps before) as the pivotal moment when her campaign lost its wheels. It was really a strategic error of unbelievable proportions for a machine with so much experience.

More like the democrats FINALLY saw what republicans have been saying for years about the clintons. When the clintons were attacking republicans, democrats had no problem with their tactics; however, when the SAME tactics were used on democrats, their eyes where open to the truth about the clintons.

FYI, if you think the clintons are dirty now just watch what they will pull up to Texas and Ohio--they may bring the democratic party down with them.
