Claritin is supposed to be like $10 for 10 pills, over the counter right ? That would hardly last and can get expensive.

Just buy generic Loratadine. I buy equate allergy relief from wal-mart and it works the same as claratin and it's a whole lot cheaper.

BTW the pollen is insane here in VA too!

Have you ever used Flonase? How does it compare to that?
I tried Flonase when it first came out but it bothered me too much.

I hear ya, OP. Pollen is sky high in the NW as well, despite recent rains. Claritin is crap. The next person who recommends Claritin for allergies is gonna get bitchslapped by me. They made that crap OTC for a reason -- it doesn't work. Right now, I've got scripts for Allegra and Naserel, and they're barely working. Thankfully though, side effects are minimal.

Amen. I'm dying here in NYC. Claritin won't even help.

Cheaper solution
quercetin ? You're sure you have the right link ? Does that indirectly help with allergies really well ?

Luckily I'm not allergic to them.

But it's annoying as hell when they get on your car.

Yes I used Flonase, no comparison at all. I was skeptical myself, and believe me, I've used every drug on the planet to control my allergies (especially to ragweed). Astelin is flat out the best thing I've ever tried. I guess its because it targets the problem, without affecting your whole body.
