I personally couldn't care less about sports, i only keep some faint idea of whats going on to be socially apt....

And no I'm not outta shape and fairly athletic ....

I don't really watch much - can't really sit there for the duration (2-3 hours) and watch an entire game... sometimes not even hockey. I love to play though... I've played on 3 teams in a season... this season down to 2 because my wife was starting to have another reason to hate me.

The closest I come is watching the X-Games/Vans Triple Crown. I know the names of some of the skaters, but that's mostly from playing THPS 😛
I might occasionally stop on a soccer game for a few minutes when channel surfing.
