Poll: your use of cdr and how long u finish a cdr spindle ?

How come u guys/gals have great demand on cdr ?
I see no reason u can finish a spindle so quick....
do u really have so many backup ?

I got my HP 9350i a month ago..
so far < 5 burns
and just bought a spindle 50 imation
oh my..
when am I going to finish this spindle...

I usually go through 50 every two months. At least 80% are used for music.

Is this per spindle/per burner or just in general

as at the moment i have 4 cdr drives in my house(one of those being in my laptop : )

100 usually takes me 3-4 weeks. I buy bulk in the cheapo CDRs (Prime Peripherals, PNY, blanky CompUSA cdrs) and then buy 50 or so really good ones (Imation, TDK, Kodak) for music, because my car cd player is picky as hell.

I use cd cases. 1 for music 1 for programs and so on....

I bought a lot of CD wallets that I store all my CD's in.
I've had a burner for 4 years and I've gone through maybe 300 CD-R's.

Mostly I reuse the spindles as a means for storage. But I also use these (the first ones on the page). And for things that I'm going through very often and need sorted, I buy a rolodex-type CDR-organizer from Staples/OD/OM
