I voted for House Atreides, even though it didn't last very long. Once House Atreides was defeated Paul became a Fremen warrior, then Paul Muad Dib, and House Atreides was pretty much history. But House Atreides was the birthplace of Usul, and Caladan, as his birthplace, was a beautiful world, and they were basically a decent lot. So..... -kd5-

House Atreides existed for over 10,000 years.

In Fact, our lineage goes back to back to Terra and the
ancient Terran city of Mycenae, where House Atreus reigned
supreme.

Demetrios Aiolos Atreides was granted the Barony of Tantalos
for his victory in the Battle of Corin and founded the
base for House Atreides.

Demetrios Atreides charged Aburuld Harkonnen with cowardice
during the Battle of Corrin, which saw House Corrino ascend the
Lion Throne. Aburuld was banished and only Ivan Harkonenn was
able to petition the new Emperor for leniency. This is the source
of the 10,000-year grudge that has ever affected both Houses.
