I've heard there's no difference when the Xeon has 256k L2 cache (same as P!!!)

If you look at the Xeon Proc, its friggin huge. Something else is in there too. Paruhd0x has a dual P2 XEON and the cartridges are twice the size as a normal P2.. My guess is bigger cache (L1 & L2) ?

They used to have 512k of full speed l2 cache, which was what made them FAST. Now though, most of the new ones come w/ 256kb of l2 cache, which is the same as the P3. They're basically the same now P3 just used Socket 370 and Xeon uses Slot2.
