I've stopped commenting on this when I come across it after a little exchange in UT2k3 where I asked someone if they'd just gotten a new keyboard. When he asked why, I told him because he typed like a fvcking monkey. It turns out I was playing with a little kid and his mother and she, laughing, pointed out that he was seven years old. It occured to me that as an adult (31 years old), I participate in alot of activities (message boards, online gaming, etc...) that most adults would consider juvenile and it's more likely that the feeble mind behind the horrific gibberish is 1/3 or 1/4 of my age. Regardless of my real feelings about this blatant abuse of the language (I have an English degree), I found it best to just turn a blind eye, as long as the message gets across. I see no reason to think that this style of typing is anything but the future of communciation. I recall Heinlein calling for a streamlining of the language in something he wrote in the early 50s to make it more intuitive, and frankly it seems it may just happen.
