My presidential voting record is thus so far:

2000: Gore
2004: Kerry
2008: Obama
2012: Johnson

I used to absolutely hate George W. Bush, and I still do. I now hate democrats, but this hasn't made me hate republicans much less. I understand whey're they're coming from more than I used to, but I still have enormous issues with them. No way am I voting for any Bush. Ever.

I don't see myself ever voting for a republican or a democrat on a national ticket again. Maybe that Rand Paul guy... I haven't paid that close of attention to his positions on issues, but I had a lot of respect for his father and I respect what he did with the filibuster the other day.

I am sure he's got some views I disagree with but I don't know that I've ever been able to cast a vote without pinching my nose to some degree, so perhaps if he got the nomination I could overlook whatever those are.

Hillary looks horrible health wise and has had health issues this past year.

I think there is no way she will be running. She is done.

Jeb will be 64 in 2016.

Don't know anything about his state of health but have not heard any issues either.

He said today on Face the Nation that history will be kind looking back on his brother but that it will be horrendous looking at the current administration.

I think he is delusional but the Country is easily brainwashed and loves Dynasty's so that is why I predict he will win in 2016.

He's from the same very wealthy and powerful family that produced George W. Bush, arguably the worst President in American history.

What reason is there to believe that his political and economic philosophy would be so different from his brother's that a Jeb Bush presidency would not further damage the health of the nation and the American middle class? Even supposing that the talks a good talk, why should Americans even take a chance with him?

First of all, lol at your characterization of Republicans. I could just as easily say that Democrats are a party that favors taking money from those who earned it and giving it to those who never will, to the gimmie-gimmie leeches, and also focused on bringing various authoritarian and socialist European policies to America, because they think Europe is better than the US.

Fortunately both our characterizations are only accurate if we look at the fringe radicals of either party, so please drop the bullshit.

To be honest I haven't looked into Jeb Bush all that much. He could be even worse than Dubya for all I know. I'm just saying I know plenty of families where siblings are nothing alike, and that logically speaking his family name shouldn't lump him in with George any more than Barack's middle name should make a Muslim. He deserves a fair shot to prove himself, but he won't get that, because the electorate is filled with morons.

In fact, I hope he runs. Because the Democrats will have to come off their morally-superior high horses for a little bit to denigrate him based solely on his last name in front of the nation.

He shouldn't, but at the same time it is unavoidable that the two will be compared, in particular since he has now decided to add to the record his opinion of the GWB presidency. I don't expect him to speak ill of his brother, but the ads basically write themselves. Unless people stop blaming the Republicans for the current financial situation, Bush in particular among them, carrying the name of the guy most people blame for this and speaking out in favor of what he did has to be one of the worst situations for someone who wants to run for president to be in.
