use it up quick, force us to go to hydrogen, it's been there for years but the companies just vanish into thin air for some reason :confused:

The marketplace is by far a more efficient regulator of consumption than any govt. action. Alot of people will be hurting if there is a crisis, car pooling and smaller cars would help a little, but we're all single-passenger SUV driving fools in the US.

I agree. Let the free market work here.

Does gas need to be rationed? In cases of national emergency or actual shortage, maybe. However, I suspect (as always) that current gas prices are a result of oil industry "cartel" behavior.
