[POLL] Would you use the automatic control system of a vehicle?

SURE, if it's used as a safety feature. I would love to have a system that is capable of steering the car to avoid an accident in an emergency situation. Humans can't control everything manually as effective as a computer (ABS for example).

I like driving myself, so normally no. I would like the option of having the car do the work though, it would be nice to drive to a bar or something and not worry about how to get home, or take a long boring road trip asleep, or watch a movie or whatever.

This opens up a whole new option, too...who wants to join the 65 miles-an-hour club :D?

So, basically I would use the feature under certain circumstances, but usually not.

Allow yes, rely no. The computer can't predict that the guy two lanes over is going to cut infront of me after making a double lane change while talking on his cell phone and reading the news paper.
