I saw this lady on tv that said she was going to move b/c the sniper was scaring her. Doesnt she realize it can happen anywhere at anytime by anyone?

I'd stay put. The towers didnt scare me out of NY, so i think im here for the long haul.

I wouldnt move but I would definitely limit my outdoor movement(not that its a lot anyways)

moving is a bit absurd. the sniper would be caught before you packed your entire house and moved.

I'm 100x more likely to get hit by a drunk driver or have a tree fall on me or get leprosy, etc, than to get killed by a sniper.

I'd shoot back. You can't live your life in fear of one jack@ss. You may have to modify your daily buisness, but if everyone moved away, do you think the sniper would stay there and have no one to shoot at?

It really depends.

I don't think anyone would move just yet unless it got to some insanely large number of people being killed.

But I'm sure no one chose to move the the Washington D.C. area (well at least w/o any doubts and insecurity) just because they wanted to, during the sniper atttacks. So yes, others do influence your decisions.... is it worth moving over... depends how much you like that place, job situation, family, etc.

Im sure if there was a sniper in your home area and you hated the place already and were able to get a job at another location, a lot more people would be moving.
