To your work? Your dirty clothes would be picked up and dropped off to your office, saving you a trip to the cleaners.

You would get a monthly statement and bill, where you could pay via mail or internet.

There are no delivery fees.

Any comments?

(hope you don't mind me doing some marketing research on you guys :p)

I have that at my building (work) right now. Drop off clothes to be dry cleaned on Mondays and they have it ready on Thursdays. It's a good deal, saves me the trip of actually having to go to the cleaners.

My work has free dry cleaning for uniforms. We drop it off in a room in the basement near the locker rooms. You can also throw suits in there if you are wearing them for work (to court etc. ). You can put your personal stuff in there as long as you use a different tag so they can bill you. I know for a fact that people abuse that system as I see all kinds of stuff in there for people I know aren't in court every day. It is very convenient hwowever even if the cheap bastages abuse it.

Sounds like a good idea but how can you do it for free?

Even better have a web site where you can schedule dropoff/delivery. That would definitely give you the edge over your competition.

Also do some sort of frequent dry cleaner rewards. Dry clean 10 times and get your next shirt/garment cleaned for FREE.

well, it wouldn't be free. there just wouldn't be an additional delivery costs.

web scheduling is definitely something i'm looking to use. (now that we have a web host :D)

also, rewards are definitely an option.

Web scheduling would rock.

Rewards are a definite must have. That's one thing which keeps me going to Burrito, Bento, Coffee shops. Buy 10 get 1 free.

id think that would be very useful. I know we had a dry cleaners down the street from us.. but its still a hassle to have to go there and do all that crap.

We already have that at our work place. The turn around time is more like 2 days usually. We get an email when it's ready to pick up. There's also a car wash service... nothing like coming in during the morning with a dirty car and leave with a sparkling clean car.

i like the ideas presented in this thread. if this was a viable option offered to me at my work, i would definetly capitalize on it. after putting in a full day and commuting back and forth, getting to the dry cleaners can become a chore. so i voted 'yes'.
