I don't think they have to be gorgeous, or extremely good looking... There are so many things besides perfet muscles and chisled features that can spark attraction. But if there is NO physical attraction, I cannot be interested.

No. Our society has spent too much money on promoting looks and first impressions that I find it hard to believe that anyone would ever date an unattractive person right off the bat. I would date someone I didn't find particularly attractive, but I'd find it hard to look at my girlfriend and think, wow she's ugly.
