[POLL] - would you be pissed ?

It's 9:30am on a Saturday morning and you're awoken by the sound of the loudest lawn mower you've ever heard in your life (no joke) from across the street. That thing must be shiny new and they couldn't wait to use it. :|

Would you be pissed ? Or is it not too early ? First off, who does their lawn at 930am on a Saturday ?

nah i was up at 9am. and wow it must have been a super lawn mower b/c i can't hear lawn mowers from my room upstairs unless it was those big riding ones

Buy an aircleaner or loud fan. Learn to sleep with that white noise and NOTHING will wake you again.

We have a 16HP 1994 Craftsman and it's not that loud even at full throttle.

my window is at the left side of the house, they are across the street and to the right, one over. I heard it as if it was just outside my window... I looked there first... then went to a front window and couldn't believe how fricken loud that small little machine was. I guess I should've slept with the AC on.

It's the starting and stopping of the mower that bugs me the most... if it's a constant sound (like an AC or a computer) it's not a problem and I wouldn't care as much.

Which is why a loud fan or aircleaner is IDEAL. You wouldn't HEAR the lawnmower, or anything else for that matter. White noise rocks.

I'd say if it's after 9:00AM it's fine. Can't wait too long or it gets hot.

GO to bed earlier if you're still sleeping at 9:30. 😉

Yeah, I think the issue here is that you're sleeping in too late, the other guy is perfectly fine. 😉
bah I have to wake up at 7am every weekday even though I work at home (so I have to go to bed early)... is 10 or 11am too much to ask on weekends ? 🙂
