Granted, we're all lazy @sses and would rather not work, but hey...if you didn't have to work where you are now, what would you want to do? How would you contribute to society?...

I just thought it was nuts..i asked this same question to a couple of co-workers and they replied, "i don't know...i work out of necessity..i've no choice.."....i was just taken away...wow...no motivation...and we're not talking old burnt out folks here, more like late 20's early 30's....

me, i actually like the work i do (knowledge base/tech-writing)....but if i had could do anything, i'd like to design shoes for nike...

I like the tech part of my job. It's the other 80+% that sucks (the paperwork). It kind of burns you out after a while when every time you try to do something good, it only results in more paperwork and more work for you.

Because my wife will be making a decent amount of money doing what she loves to do (can it get much better?), I would gladly choose a job that I enjoyed doing even if it meant being paid significantly less.

I'm just happy that in a few years I will have this luxury. As for what I would do, no clue really. Part time teacher would be cool.

Oh, as for what I do now...it's a 50/50 deal. It's a ton of stress, but it's fun and exciting at the same time.

If I had enough money to be comfortable I would find a job doing something I love, where I didn't care what I was paid.

I am doing something I enjoy doing but frankly it's dull when I think of some of the other occupations out there. Compensation is adequate for my position but I need more money. Don't we all?
