I’m surprised this isn’t getting more coverage on the internet.

I played Wolf3D on my cousin’s PC back in the day. Unfortunately I find the gameplay doesn’t really hold up now as it’s a bit boring. But it’s undeniably the granddaddy of the FPS genre, and deserves accolades for that.

My favorite installment is Return to Castle Wolfenstein and it’s one of my favorite games of all time. The level design, atmosphere, and gunplay are awesome and I enjoy replaying it regularly. My only gripe is that the consoles’ extra North Africa content was never ported to the PC version.

I was going to get New Order/Old Blood when they were on sale recently, but the disk use would be exorbitant on my 1TB SSD. I generally avoid games that take up too much drive space. In a few years if I get a bigger drive I’ll take another look at them.

RTCW is my favorite too. Just that old-school gameplay... As for games taking up too much premium SSD space, you could always buy a 3-4TB HDD and use SteamMover to cache whatever game you're currently playing to the SSD.

RTCW was definitely the best one. Great Single Player and Multiplayer. Wolf3D was just revolutionary though, kinda sucks to play now, but at the time it was addictive as hell.

I like the Return but I think that The New Order and Old blood is great.

Why did you put Old Blood separate from New Order it is the same game, only an expansion of New Order

I like return to castle Wolfenstein a lot, especially the atmosphere. But ignoring the issues with the game, wolfenstein new order looks great and has the ambiance as well. I definitely want to play old blood as well. I can only hope that by then there is a gpu driver 17.5.3 that addresses the various issues with these games.
I do think that although the missing anisotropic filtering is very obvious to see, that wolfenstein new order in general looks great. The panzerhund sounds and looks amazing. As do all cyborgs and robots in the game.

I like to keep my PC as simple as possible. It's more of a case of having a minimalist (and quiet) build.

So I restrict myself to one internal SSD. Extra internal drives need extra cables, extra maintenance/configuration, show extra drive letters in Explorer, etc.
