Poll: Win 2k ? Win ME? Win 98??

I would go with Win2K because it's rock stable, but if you're having probs with the different languages, I guess 98 is the only way to go. WinME has far too many bugs right now...

98 here with all available upgrades.

Stable and does the job.

Has NEVER crashed on my new Tbird (about 3 mo old now) but I do shut off every night.

98SE + Windows Updates is pretty awesome, never crashes on my at all

Win2k is also fairly trustworthy now though....

Win98 - if you're using this, you need to UPGRADE
Win98SE - stick with this if you like games or just a regular user
WinME - don't upgrade unless you have it for free already, sorta buggy, but I was running it fine
Win2K - STABLE, very fast, but not very good with games (lower fps, etc), DOS is history too

Never had many problems with either, but the more I learn W2K, the more I prefer it. For both playing games (95% of time) and doing work (<1% of time). Dunno about language probs though.

Win2k I would say. It's ROCK STABLE and I can PLAY GAMES, too, since I have 512MB of RAM

i have been using win2k on my box for about 6 months now and is has only crashed on me once.. that is all! pretty good... Win2k!!!!
