Your thoughts?

I'm obviously a Money Mayweather fan, so I'm hoping this fight does happen. I think it will, there is too much damn money involved for it not to.

chickenweather is waiting until he sees a decline in Pacquiao's skills. It is clear he has been afraid to fight him

I disagree, I think Pac and/or his promoter Bob Arum is the one ducking. Floyd made a lot of concessions to Pac and Pac's stupid ass promoter Bob Arum always talking a bunch of nonsense. That idiot needs to retire.

Not a chance. Floyd is afraid of Manny and will continue to find excuses for ducking him no matter how much money is on the table.

He's way too cocky to let his perfect record get tarnished with a loss so he's going to continue ducking this fight. Whenever he needs money again he'll come out, choose an opponent he knows he'll beat, then rinse and repeat.

^^ this

yeah mayweather is a money man, but he also doesn't want to lose, and he knows he'll lose this fight

I don't know if he thinks he'll lose, but he knows there's a chance. He's fixed his whole persona on his undefeated record, and the only way he'll fight Pacquiao is if he has a bad match with someone else and loses. Otherwise, I think Mayweather will dance around this issue for a couple more years then retire for good.

Each other? Probably not.

Mayweather is too scurred of losing his perfect record.

Floyd doesnt want to risk his perfect record and he's worth about 500 million. What for? Too risky for immaterial reward at this point in his life. What's 70 million when you got 500 already?

Mayweather actually has a legit shot at beating Pac Man, so I don't know why he keeps insisting on ridiculous demands to make this fight happen. You know he's gonna say things like Paq can't train in the Philippines and such. Who would agree to that kind of restriction? In my eyes, that's just a guy looking for an excuse not to take a particular fight. Paq hates needles. As a guy who has that same phobia, I can assure you, he ain't juicing.

Pac hates needles? Yet he has many tattoos. Everyone keeps saying Floyd keeps ducking and making excuses...he's made one request/"excuse" if you will: TAKE RANDOM USDA ANTI-DOPING TESTS THAT HE WILL ALSO TAKE.

(taken from another board...but pretty damn accurate)

Mayweather:

1. I want a full random blood and urine test

Pacquiao :

1. Pacquiao is afraid of needles

2. Blood tests make Pacquiao weak

3. $10 million penalty per pound overweight

4. I want 8 oz gloves

5. I choose the ring size

6. Floyd Mayweather wants too much money

7. Floyd Mayweather is not serious he doesnt want to fight

8. We dont want to fight at the MGM Grand

9. I need a 17 day cutoff.

10. Let the Commission do their job

11. We don't trust USADA

12. 50/50 split won't get it done even though Mayweather consistently beats me in terms of generating revenue. Yes, Pacquiao recently said he wants more than 50/50.

13. Mayweather may not be available due to his cases.

14. Floyd Mayweather SR. said we couldn't train in the Philippines so that tells us they aren't serious.

15. As long as we have a pending case against Mayweather, we obviously aren't going to fight.

16. We hate Golden Boy so we won't negotiate with them.

17. Mayweather didn't answer my online clock that counted down to zero.

18. We're not going to wait on Mayweather. That's why we sign our next opponent 3 days after our last fight in order to shut out an opportunity or window to start earnest discussions with the Mayweather camp.

19. I dont need Mayweather to enhance my career.

20. The Joshua Clottey fight days after the Mayweather negotiations broke down

21. Starting a false rumor: Mayweather is fighting Erik Morales .

22. Can't give blood cause of religious beliefs/superstitions

23. "Mayweather is naturally bigger than me so if i give blood i will be smaller than him."

24. No testing within 7 days of the fight

25. Mayweathers Vile Words May Affect Manny's Presidency in Philippines.

Tattoos are very different from needles extracting fluids from your body. My ex faints at the site of needles, but she has a few tattoos and had no issues while getting them.

But Mayweather will also be subject to it? The thing is Pacquiao keeps going back and forth saying he's afrad of needles, then saying he isn't afraid then saying he doesn't want to be weakened by it then saying blood drawing is not an issue...there's no definitive answer from his camp about the random testing. Bob Arum is saying one thing, someone else is saying another...I've only heard one consistent request/"excuse" in this whole ordeal...and that's from Mayweather which is asking Pac to take random blood and urine tests up to the day of the fight and he will also subject himself to it as he has for his past few fights.

Who doesn't want to take a $50 million blood test?

What does Mayweather have to do with Pac being afraid of needles? 😕

Just because the testing works fine for Mayweather and his fight regimen it does not mean he should be able to impose it on other fighters as it is outside of the normal testing rules in place for the sport itself. Besides, Pac had agreed to the 30 days prior, or whatever it was, testing and anything that would have augmented Pac's body to the degree it would impact the fight could have easily been found in that time frame.

The whole thing might actually be dumber than the Kardashians. Boxing is a fucking joke. I wouldn't mind seeing them fight Tyson and Tyson gets to juice and take PCP just before the fight.
