Not getting into politics at all here, just wondering why people that don't vote, choose to do so. I know some reasons are that it takes forever because the process is so completely outdated and can take hours of standing in line. Maybe you just don't feel that your one vote can make a difference. Maybe you just don't care.

Personally I will be voting but the only reason I wouldn't is because the 90+ year old people working the booths are so incompetent that it takes over an hour (probably 2 this year) to get through the line. THink I'll be bringing my laptop to watch a movie while I wait.

Pretty much the first 4 options together. Plus i'm in a state that's already decided, so what's the point?

So the media that may be influanced/owned/supported by canidate X just conviced you not to vote therefore further ensuring the victory of canidate X. Nice.

Or the "I don't care, I'm not in the US" option?
 
The only time I waited in line to vote was for the California Gubanatorial Recall election, and that was a half hour at most.
 
I would vote if I were in a swing state, but I'm from Texas, we already know how our state is going.
 
Kerry will take my state easily, and I'm lazy. I would vote if I were in a swing state. Voter apathy will continue as long as no incentive is given.

You guys that don't vote will be the same ones whining about it after the election. At least have a reason to gripe.

His statement was black and white. He obviously doesn't understand the electoral college system. If you're alluding to local elections, keep in mind we're a group spread across the country, and the only 'whining after the election' we'd do would be over the presidency.
