I like to watch movies, especially ones that I consider very good, more than once. My wife will watch a movie once, no matter how good it is, and doesn't like to bother seeing it again. She thinks I'm weird. I think she's weird.

Who's the weird one?

What's even more weird is that my wife and I have the same taste in movies. She's not a big chick flick fan, but rather likes the action adventure stuff. Good for me! 🙂

 
I don't like watching movies twice... I mean I never set time aside to watch a movie I've already seen once.
 
My wife doesn't like to watch movies more than once either. Even if it's a long time after seeing it the first time.
 
If it's been a while since I've seen a good movie, I definitely can sit and watch it again...I'll usually pick up on something I missed the first time through.

Well, of course! I don't necessarily want to see something like Antwone Fisher more than once. Sure it's a great film with a great story, but it doesn't require a second viewing to appreciate it. Something like Finding Nemo, on the other hand, DOES require multiple viewings because you could miss so much (story-wise, visual-wise, joke-wise) from watching it for just the first time.

 
My wife doesn't even watch an entire movie. Always getting up to check e-mail or auctions or the phone rings or she calls someone. I'm high strung but she drives me nuts sometimes! SIT DOWN AND WATCH THE MOVIE! Then when she gets on the phone I have to turn it up *blah blah blah blahblah* Then she yells at me because I'm going to wake up the kids. "Then sit down and watch the movie and shut up!"

That's because girls don't pay attention the first time. 😉 It's like:

Wife: "Honey what's going on?"
Me: "Just watch it"
Wife: "Honey what just happened?"
Me: "If you'd stop asking me you'd understand it"
Wife: "Honey why are they doing that?"
Me: "We're not supposed to know yet, that's why we have to watch it"
