Yeah, but what was the problem with Hillary? Old, established... not progressive... Obviously, young people weren't a fan. They didn't show up. Who was her VP? Exactly the same as her.

Biden has plenty of the old and establishment democrats. It makes sense to have put up someone that was more progressive to try and bridge/excite both sides.
Kamala Harris has the second most liberal member of the senate according to DW-NOMINATE.

Progressive energy is a given. It’s just not something to focus on.

I guess I take a different approach... There is "the squad" progressive....Bernie progressive.... even Warren.

I can't say Kamala is in that bucket that the progressives really love

Anyhow, next post from crazy neighbor:

One attack on Harris I know will come, Russians and Republicans will put out the notion she isn't really black and constantly point to her husband. Attempting to divide the black vote.

That's won't be successful but they think it will be.

Alright Homer I am comfortable enough with you to ask the uncomfortable question I as a white guy always had trouble understanding.
Darkness or lack of darkness in skin was real important to some black people in the 90/early 00s. Do black people still look at a dark skinned guy as being more authentic black vs a light skinned black guy?
Will Harris’s lighter tone and mixed background be a benefit, disadvantage or is it now irrelevant

I see Rice and Abrams being part of his team. The others currently have elected role will remain there. Really don’t see him offering Warren a cabinet position. Mayor Pete also will be part of his team.

BTW someone please make a similar image that says “This is not a 239.999999 pound man” “STOP THE LIES!” with an image of the President

I hope he does offer Warren either AG or Treasury. AG is probably a stretch, but she would be great at treasury.

Warren has also raised a shitload of money for him, that's probably going to be paid back somehow.

By that standard, Obama wasn't African American either. Conservatives still lost their fucking minds when he was elected.

I sincerely do not give a flying fuck of the oppression olympics where you score points based on how you are born.

Of all things, as shitty of a person as I find Kamala... I will at least vouch that she has some good experience under her belt... Which is ultimately how I judge someone the most.... You know, shit you actually do instead of skin colors you're born with?

You must hate that our president has had everything handed to him, and were he not born into wealth, he'd be destitute. Our president is the definition of being rewarded at birth.

Yeah. Refreshing to have a leader that doesn't hold petty grudges over loyalty.

Yeah maaaaaaaaaaaaan. Kinda why I didn't vote for him because he doesn't represent what I felt should be in office.

Ask your neighbor where the black people in Jamaica were before they came to Jamaica (or more likely, were brought there). Doh!
