Who makes the best motherboard between these three? I am not looking at overclocking anything, I just want something that works all the time, no hangups. I've had dang good luck for many years with Epox, great customer support, good BIOS updates. I have had fairly good luck with Asus and Abit, and bad luck with all the other brands out there.

So narrowing it down to these three, who would you cast your vote for?

I would just remove Epox from there. IMO, Epox isn't even the same league as Abit and ASUS.

Abit and ASUS are top notch. I prefer Abit but i'd take any ASUS as a second choice with no problem.

Agree, except I think Asus overall is a little better, but I definitely agree about the EPoX thing...

I've used all three. All made quite functional products in my opinion. I don't know which was best though. I have had dealings with Epox's RMA department, the most recent of which involved sending a 3 year old motherboard back for capacitor replacement. They charged me $7 for shipping, and replaced all of the GSC-brand capacitors that were 1000uF or greater. Can't argue with that.
I did 2 RMA's with Abit already - two KT7 motherboards with bad IDE controllers. The replacements worked fine.
Asus - I only owned a P5A board (SS7), and it had some problem, which I can't remember right now, which caused me to sell it. I think it was that it didn't support the K6-3+ processors, but I'm not sure if that was why.

Right now, I'm using Abit boards - NF7-S, rev 1.2 and 2.0, and I don't see any need for changing that anytime soon.

I really like the asus motherboards. They are rock solid stable, have a good lifespam. But I am curios if intel motherboards are not at least as good as the ones from Asus.

I voted "Why don't you read some reviews, or the 50 other threads that ask what the best mobo is."

PS: You also forgot to ask who's better - ATI or NVIDIA

Epox used to make some of the best overclocking motherboards you could buy, but I am sad to say all they do now is make the cheapest boards they can. It's pathetic. I voted Abit, whom I think makes the best boards, but I went DFI this time, and am very impressed. And it only happened because Abit doesn't have an nForce 3 board out yet.
