She's a very talented singer. Do a search at google.com and you'll find a lot of place talking about her. Try to listen some of her songs, I bet you'll like her!
 
Heh my mom smacked the sh1t out of her at a club she was a waitress at. This was around the mid 80's and before she was well know, she demanded a free hot dog and started bitching at my mom. So my mom let her have it. I think the club was The Channel in Boston or some such.
 
I love it when she is on Letterman. He is such a flirt. I liked her more with the 10,000 Maniacs, but she is still one of the best singers out there. It's sad to know that they can never really get back together again now that the guitarist passed away.

Natalie is very talented and her songwriting is superb.

Many good memories that relate to her frst solo album for me. Moved me in many ways.

 
I guess she is OK. Unique voice. My wife likes her a lot. I don't even think she writes lyrics. And some of the lyrics from 10,000 maniacs were pretty lame.
 
I would like her a lot more if I hadn't seen her on Saturday Night Live EVERY DAMN WEEK growing up. She was Lorne Michaels' girlfriend. Anyone know if they are still together? She hasn't been on there in a while, so I assume not?

Huh?!? Didn't hear about this and never noticed her on that much.

I loved 10K Maniacs "In My Tribe" and some of "Tigerlilly" was cool, but her mutilation of "Because The Night" on the "Unplugged" album cost her 10,000 cool points. She's got a really warm voice, but she's not very soulful IMO.
