I don't know about that. Bush probably has done more to help Al Qaeda's recruiting than Bin Laden himself. Plus Kerry probably would be more likely to bridge the differences between Western Europe and America which could only help on the war against terrorism

With re. recruitment maybe, however I don't necessarily agree with the rest of it...if anything the only way Kerry would bridge the gap between Eu and the US is by catering to every whim and desire EU wants, further pussifying this nation...it is good to do some brown-nosing from time to time but my fear is that with Kerrie the term bending over backwards will be given new meaning.
Yeah but the Dub's "Bull in a Closet" Diplomacy is a disaster and has hurt us in the war against terrorism. Frankly his and his handlers insistence in invading and occupying Iraq has really hurt our credibility since the reasons given by the Dub and his cohort Blair has proven to be false.

We could have invaded Iraq anytime we wanted to and if we needed to go back to the UN time and time again I seriously doubt that it would have been any tougher than it was a year ago. Of course we might have discovered the truth regarding the non existence of vast stockpiles of WMDs, alleged ties to Al Qaeda and the alleged advanced Nuclear weapons program and not have invaded at all. At least the US would still have credibility and billions of dollars (not to mention hundreds of American Soldiers) that could be used to fight Al Qaeda

GW Bush. Bin Laden would've been long dead if Bush hadn't decided to spend loads of money to fight "all evil" simultaneously.

How so? Clinton spent nothing fighting against the terrorist during his 8 year term...didn't spend "loads of money" fighting ANY "evil simultaneously"...bombed our embassy, the U.S.S. Cole, the towers in Saudi, et al....all while he was shoving cigars up interns crotches...so your assertion that we would have had him by now should be on the receiving end of that $510B toilet paper...full of sh*t, sir.

In case you haven't noticed, Bill Clinton is not on the poll :disgust:

fact is i've already called you on this in other threads. yet you continue with the lies.

fact is this, under clinton, anti terrorism budgets went up 300+%.

on sept 10 2001, Aschcroft of bush and co cut the anti terrorism budget by 50 million dollars.

oops!

what did clinton do? after the first attack on the world trade center, he captured, convicted, imprisoned those responible. Ramzi Yousef, Abdul HakimMurad, Wali Khan Amin Shah?? all captured and behind bars during clinton.

his administration foiled attacks on the pope, plans to blow up 12 jetliners simultaneously, attacks on the UN headquarters, fbi building, israeli embassy in washington, la/boston airports, lincoln/ holland tunnels, george washington bridge, us embassy' in tirana/albania.... thwarted all of em.

he tripled the counterterrorism budget for the FBI, doubled counterterrorism funding overall. created a top level national security post to coordinate all federal and counterterrorism activity.

clintons first and secondcrime bill had antiterrorism legistlation. he sponsored drills and simulations of anti terrorism response.

clinton created the national stockpile of drugs and accines including 40 million doses of small pox vaccine.

Clinton put out a presidential directive ordering the assassination of osama bin laden.

etc etc etc

what did the republicans do during this time?

MONICA MONICA MONICA MONICA MONICA BLOW JOB BLOW JOB BLOW JOB BLOW JOB!!

republicans could have cared less about national defense.

what did bush do after getting into office?

he was so worried about the supposed national security mess clinton left, he immediately fought for tax cuts for the rich, anti missle defense, and took a spree of vacations! a liar? or simply negligent, those are the only two choices.

Kerry, obviously. Once Kerry gets in, there will be no money left for toilet paper in the whitehouse for all the money he is planning to spend, let along going after OBL.

Just how is he going to get a Republican controlled Congress to spend that money?

This should be good.

Why don't you ask that question in a Kerry thread? Watch everyone squirm as they start chanting, "Anyone But Bush!"

Why don't you answer his question instead of deflecting? The truth is, most of us who will vote for Kerry in November know full well who we're voting into the White House. We have no dreams of liberal glory.

I didn't answer because I DON'T KNOW. I don't use funny math, so it doesn't work out for me. That's why I said to ask in a kerry thread because someone there might think 1+1 = 0.5 and can explain it all to you

I think that's a valid question in response to your statement and you are 'squirming' away. So just how will Kerry get this passed a Republican congress?

I see Commander has decided to bail instead of responding. Good job Commander. :)

Actually I have other things to do. I just post here when I have a minute, then check back when I get another minute.

Obviously Osama wants the candidate that will bend over and take it up the rear from Islamic terrorism - John Kerry.
