When referring to a carbonated beverage in general, what do you say?
Also, post where you are from.

I say soda, and I live in a town south of Boston, MA.

I missed the old one so I voted here... Soda is SC. I occasionally call it pop if I am around my yankee family in ohio, but they refer to everything as beer but wait that is everything there.

Dangit people. It's all coke. No matter whether it's actually Pepsi, Coke, Sprite or anything else. It's all called Coke. BTW I'm from Atlanta, Georgia. Can you figure out why I call it coke. plus pop just sounds dimwitted.

Pop - here in Iowa.

In Germany if we want a Coke we actually say "Cola" or "Coca-Cola".

In Missouri it's soda.
BTW, where does the pronunciation "sunduh" come from when refering to an ice cream sunday--I've heard it several times...?

I'm from Victoria BC, Canada. I call it by it's name when I'm talking about a specific drink. When I'm talking in general I say pop.

I find that most of the time Canadians use "pop" and Americans use "Soda".

In general? Soda.

Coke is good for cleaning batteries. Pepsi doesn't do the trick. Not enough ACID.

A pop is a sucker and tonic is carbonated water.
