ok, I have narrowed it down to 2 pool tables and I need your help selecting one of them.

option 1

option 2

right now I'm leaning towards option 1, but 2 is also a beautiful table, but a little too beautiful if you know what I mean...

Go with option 1. They're both a little froofy... I mean, it's a pool table, how ornate does it really need to be?

It depends, if there is much wood in your house, is it a darker wood or a lighter wood. If it is a dark wood go with option 1, if it is light colored wood go with option 2. I personally think that option 2 looks the best, mostly because i don't really like dark colored wood.

The 07 looks kind of tacky to me. The pockets and general trim are just too flamboyant. The 08 looks better, but I still don't really care for the legs.

LOL, I thought this was going to be a comparo of slate surfaces to the alternatives. I am going to guess that these both have slate playing surfaces. I really only care about the functionality/size of the table over how it looks, so I guess I cannot be much help. I guess option 1 looks a little better, but since I usually play on commercial-grade tables I am not a very subjective voter...

I think they're both hidious... in fact I can't say I care for any of the choices from this company.

If I had to choose between those two I'd go with option 1.

I like 1 better. Just looks overall cleaner to me and I guess the slightly more decorative two isn't doing it for me.

Apart from how it looks, I'd be more concerned about performance - felt, rails/bumper, sturdy frame, quality of the wood on the top of the rails and how it feels with your hand on it. Just like there's nothing worse than playing on a table that doesn't fit the room, it's even worse on a low quality table.

i'd go with option 1. option 2 is kind of gaudy looking.
but then i wouldn't have chosen those two anyway, so i'm guessing our tastes differ.

i take it back, those are probably the best 2 tables on that site.

How do these guys or any pool table vendors for that matter bring the table in to your home assuming your doors aren't wide enough?

Do they put it all together at your place?

They wheel it in on a special dolly, on its side with the legs removed. Inside they install the legs and set and level it.

Yes. They are assembled/disassembled. Even a quality 3 piece slate table - those pieces are hundreds of pounds.
