Duron 900, KT133 M/b, 256 MB PC133, 40GB Seagate Baracudda 7200rpm, 15" monitor; this is the configuration.
Now which one, Asus V6800 (Geforce 256 DDR 32MB) or Asus V7100 (Geforce2MX 400 32MB SDR) will give me better performance. Keeping in mind my 15" monitor most of the gaming will be done at about 800x600x16bit.
Both of these cost exactly the same at $140.
The Geforce2GTS is priced at $250 and is beyond my reach.
