don't get me wrong though, I do like Atlantis.

By "new" do you mean the current season Supercharged? 😕

I mean the last few seasons. Like how they got rid of Michael Shanks for a season then brought him back, and how the main character RDA was absent for half the episodes in season 7. The season 7 finale was pretty damn cool though, but that's because they were originally going to end the series with it.

I liked Jonas Quinn! Daniel Jackson was (he's a little better now) really whiny. There's definitely less RDA now because he's apparently wanting to spend more time with his kids.

SGA ok. SG1 better.

I think Atlantis just has to grow on us some. There's definitely some potential for some cool storylines there.

Heh, it's kind of like a ST:Voyager rip... stranded out far from home, trying to (sorta) get back, new bad guys... I hope they get 7 of 9 in there somehwhere 🙂

I am really enjoying SGA. It has a lot of potential. This last season for SG1 seemed kind of boring. Sure it had a few good episodes but the overall season was lacking something. Maybe its the fact that Jack was promoted to General and he is no longer with the team. It's going to take some time to warm up to the idea of him being in charge of the SGC.

Now its time to enjoy the reruns of the current season until January when the new season starts.

Atlantis Premiere was great, downhill ever since but I'll wait until season one is over before making complete judgement. SG-1 Season 1 - 7 was great, but so far in Season 8 it's been lacking. I miss O'neil going on missions.

I like SG1 a lot, Atlantis is still in its infancy and needs time to mature before I form a final opinion about it. I think Atlantis definitely has potential though.

SG-1 is better

I cant stand the acting in Atlantis. Too much comic relief and i have a hard time taking the acting serious. The one charater i can not stand and i think does not fit is David Hewlett as Dr. Rodney McKay. in my opinion if they replace him the show would vastly improve.

I don't like that they got rid of the General and replaced him with RDA...He was a cool guy.

old SG1 (showtime) was better... I don't like this season of SG1 as much as I used to. I'm liking Atlantis better this year so far.

SG1, the main guy in SGA tries way too hard to be witty like RDA

totally agree. i think he even tries to emulate some of his facial expressions. it's annoying.
