POLL: Which is better, Sno-Cone or Shaved Ice?

I'm chomping on a Sno-Cone right now, but I think shaved ice is generally better because it holds the flavoring better. So which do you like more?

Cherry and Pinapple flavors rock.

Unless it's Matsumoto's on the Notrth Shore of O`ahu, or John Convience store in Upper Kalihi/Nu`uanu, then the shave ice/sno-cone you're eating is crap. Seriously.

With Ice Cream in the bottom, Vanilla and Cherry...the best...EVER...

By the way it is Shave ice not Shaved ice.

Shaved ice; sno-cones around here are far too coarse compared to the shaved ice.

Shave Ice is kind of a Hawaiian terminology, most other regions that serve it usually just call it shaved ice from my experience.

I've been to Matsumoto's, but I don't know where "John's" is. Is it near the junction of Likelike and the H-1?

It's off the Pali Highway. When you're heading towards honolulu coming fromt he Kailua side, take the Wyllie St exit, head straight through the stop light, and turn right on Liliha. Go up that street, and soon on your left is a small unassuming mom-n-pop store, John's Convience Store (not sure of the exact spelling). Great shave ice, cheap, and you don;t have to drive up tot he north shore. Between Them and Matsumoto's, the best shave ice int he world!

There's this stuff at Great America (theme park) called Sno Biz. Yeah, it's great. They put this cream over it, it's great. It looks like jizz when they apply it, but it tastes great.
