I'm trying to see if it makes a difference and if bass travels up walls more, or down them.
We're the people who are typically the ones "playing" the music. We're never loud on off peak hours, but we still get complaints from the people upstairs. The reason I ask is when they play their music, it never really sounds bad to us. Perhaps we have way better speakers, or I thought it might have somethign to do with the way the sound travels.Originally posted by: lilcam

I live in the middle....on the second floor on my apt complex. I don't mind the noise from upstairs or downstairs when it comes to music or drumsets.... I just have a problem with the two FAT CHICKS that live upstairs. They sit down on beds or get someone to have sex with them (hard to tell who or what) and it sounds like the springs are screaming for their lives. These springs are in their beds, in their chairs, etc.... It is a constant high-pitched squeak sometimes.
