Uh, directly in. They did have engineers design the things to avoid this trouble. Hell, some models in Sweden have a little fly painted on them so that you aim at the fly and minimize spray. 😛

I take a step back, I constantly move my stream around, though I avoid pointing up at all times!!!

It's actually quite fun to try to draw somthing with the stream. I'm personally trying to perfect writing my name in cursive. Just wait until snowboard season comes around I'll to be able to show off my skilllzzzs.

I usually get the "splash back" from the shakes at the end, but remeber the rule goes you shake it more than 3 times you're jerking off.

Once I noticed a guy that seemed to have solved the splash back problem. I was zipping up when this guy takes the urinal beside me (plenty of open urinals on all sides) and proceeds to pull his pants down to the ankles and from at least 2 ft from the piss pot aims perfectly into the urinal.... with no hands. I kid you not. By the time he had disrobed I was at the sink washing my hands and watching through the mirror in shock as he went with his hands planted on his hips humming somthing. One guy actualy walked in on this I locked eyes with him briefly giving my best "I don't know wtf is going on" look, he immediatly turned around and walked out again.

I'm pretty sure the guy was a "special person" but damn I've got to give it to him. He had some skills and was still going at it as I left. I guess that's one way to prevent splash back.

yeah half the time i just go in the stalls because there are 40 guys waiting for the urinals and 4 stalls wide open...

when i do have to use the urinal, it helps to aim towards the side so that its hitting the porcelain at the smallest angle possible. The closer you hit it at a perpendicular angle, the more splashback you're going to get. That's why you get so much when you aim straight forward.

I prefer a distance of 5 - 6 feet and a high arcing stream that hopefully hits the back of the urinal and not the back of the guy next to me.
