Poll: which hubcaps should I get?

I've got a 97 Mazda Protege...nothing fancy, just a commuter car to get me to work and back. I hit a curb a while back and lost both hubcaps on the driver's side, so I'd like to get a new set. Should I get option 1 or option 2?

Edit: The car looks like this, only blue.

How much are new hubcaps? I have a 2000 Protege that is missing 3 caps. The ones in Pic2 look just like them. My car is looking like ass without them.

I'll make the obligatory request for spinner hubcaps 😛

I kid, I kid. Get option 2. Option 1 looks stupid for two reasons: A) you'll see too much of the steel wheel behind it, and B) it's chromed plastic.

get them from a junkyard if you can't find a similar one parked anywhere

get #2 # 1 leaves too much space between the spokrs for your crappy steel whells to show through. besides, cromed out plastic screams cheap.

Actually, my car's identical twin parks very near me at work. Unfortunately, that parking lot is covered in cameras. 🙁

I guess I do need to hit the scrap yard, as they apparently want about $40 each for replacements. WTF?

No-one buys hubcaps! it's a chain whereby you take them from other people's cars in carparks. eventually the chain will reach someone who works in a hubcap factory who can get them for free. This is how the cycle works, it's science.

Hmmm, never thought about the fact that option 1 shows so much of the crappy steel wheel. Option 2 it is...thanks everyone!!

OEM hubcaps are ridiculously expensive, just get cheap generic looking replacements.
