after 3 weeks of not shipping the 7900GT i've just put in an order for an x1900xt from dell. $351 before taxes 🙂

how did you get the price down that much? It's listed at $549 there. Are there some big coupons floating around?

Highly considering swapping to a Connect3D X1800GTO, though. The manufacturer specs claim it has full 16 pipelines, and the card is less than $200 AR.

Poor 7600GT! 😉 It sure beats my $100 6800 @ 440/800 😉 That x1800GTO is calling my name too, to bad I am paying to go to Germany for 3 weeks in May 🙁

LOL, I don't know if we can... 😛

Anyway, I had a 7800GT for few months and loved it. Does that count?

Check the hot deals forum here, man 😀

I dont have one, but I just came in to say thats its quite funny youre listing cards such as 7800 series and 1900 as high end... nothing wrong with it but, a x1900 gets twice the performance of a 7800 GT.. can a card with such "low" performance be considered high end? 😛 just some food for thought

I went for it, $180AR. If it really does have 16 pipes, I'm going to have tons of fun trying to overclock that bad boy to XT speeds, at least on the core. This is going to be practically a huge free boost in performance for me, I'm excited! 🙂

I put it in there because less than a year ago a 7800gt would have been a high end card. It's not as important in this poll what the actual performance is, but rather how many people bought the card when it cost $300 or more, and how many are still keeping it today.

You're not the only one, I'm still sticking with my X800XL hopefully until I really need it (would need one with a monitor upgrade I'm hoping for)
