Poll: Which Final Fantasy game do you like best?

Personally I like FF2 the best. I think it has the best story of them all. And it's the first I ever played. It's the only reason why I still use my SNES. How about you guys?

I've only played 6,7,8 and of those I liked 7 the best. 9 looks like it'll be cool

My favorite is FF6(3 in the US). My second favorite is FF4(2 in the US). Both for the SNES. The PSX version of FF6 sucked w/that damn loading time, although I did like the cg movies.

haven't played 2, 3, or any of the FF adventure games.

FF7 I played several times and I really enjoyed it. FF8 I still have not finished....shoot I am still working on finishing Chrono Cross....who am I kidding I have been busy.

I played 1,2,3,7 and 8. Two was the best IMO.

FF Tactics was okay. I pumped +90hrs total into that game. Most of it was building up my main characters near the end. Let's just say that the final boss was a definite pushover at with my ultra powerful party.

I still haven't finished FF8. I've gotten about 15hrs into the game on the 2nd cd and then I just stopped playing it several months ago.

Final Fantasy 3 US(6) was hands down the best.

Next I would have FF 1, FF 4(2 US), FF 5(no US), FF 2(no US), FF3(no US)

The other two are disgraces to gaming. They lowered my view of SquareSoft more then I thought it ever would be lowered. I now consider them a shovel ware company he!! bent on making new lows in gaming. Yes, I though they were that bad.

I have read up on FF9, too little far too late. I'm not wasting another cent on any of the sh!t they are spewing out, it just encourages them to continue. Looks like the only hope for good turn based RPGing lies with DragonWarrior.

BTW- If Chrono Trigger was a FF game then I would have it as a close second to FF3.

(BTW- Currently playing through FF6(3) again and that got me to fire up FF7, forgot how bad that game was and it is irritating to me, FF are my second favorite series of games and now they may as well be gone).

FF9 is nothing like FF7/8. The atmosphere, and the story, is excellent. Note how I had ranked 7 and 8 on the bottom of my list and 9 on top.

I liked mytical Quest and 8 the best, why do so many people not like 8?? I think that is one of the best ones because of the realism of the characters that you can relate to......

I liked FF8, but I could see why some people might not. The first is probably just because it *looks* different, with the characters. Also it was very tedious having to rack up those spells. Junctioning was pretty cool though. Others might've been frustrated if they didn't know that monsters grew in level along with you and played standard methods of spending time to build up their characters, then getting whupped by monsters...

One of my favorite RPGs was Xenogears though.

FF3 was great! I still love the Celes Opera Scene..

FF2 Was also good.. not as great as 3 but it was still good.

Ff7 is in between 3 and 2 but 3 is still better.
