Does anyone know where the updated CPU Cheatsheet guide is that Jarred Walton promised towards the end of 2004.

The original CPU guides were dated 12th July 2004 & 28th August 2004 (entitled 'Updated CPU Cheatsheet - Seven Years of Covert CPU Operations'). That same year there were some 74 postings of comments, many offering suggestions for revisions & updates.

However, I can find no sign of the updates.

Do any of you have them or know where I can find them?

The subject is becomming so horrendously complicated &, after reading many postings, it is clear lots of us would benefit greatly by this info (which obviously needs to be constantly updated).

P.S. Hopefully this poll will now work ;)

Tom's Hardware has a thing called the "Mother of CPU charts" or something like that.

Hey MustISO, thanks for replying.

That's a great site. Should prove very useful. :)

I wonder how accurate the charts are?

Hi, me again . . .

Nevertheless, the updated CPU Cheatsheet guide by Jarred Walton would still be useful - I think it might have some other useful stuff. Besides, Jarred seemed to have valuable experience in the subject. Has Jarred fallen off the planet - he doesn't appear to reply to private messages?!
