Choose the type of residence you live in. Note: regardless of what you live in, if your parents pay for it, choose "My parents provide me with housing".

Rent an apartment.

I pay £650 (~$1000) a month for something that is 425 sq. ft thanks to the ludicrous property prices here :|

Dorm room.. paying it by means of student loans. I had to take out $15k in student loans this year since I couldn't get any financial aid. :(

I rent an area of a giant house. All of the doors to my neighbors are bolted, and we share nothing, not even an entrance. I'd say our area is about 1000sq ft. It's in the center of town.

My share is $150/mo

Right now, I'm living in an on-campus apartment. Not sure who's money actually paid for it; I paid some of the bill, my parents paid some of it. When I'm not at school, though, I live in my parent's house.

Rent house with roommate (he owns the house).

It's nice because we've been friends for over 15 years and I trust him.

Plus the rent is affordable.
