I do that sometimes. I've been meaning to put a shortcut for the calc on my quick launch bar, but I never seem to do it. :D

i have a calculator key on my keyboard.

Oh i was in accounting in high school and college. So im used to the small keypad.

That's the only thing I find "run" useful for... and cmd

try msconfig....

I use the mouse and click each number/function, works for me........

and regedit
and quickbrowsing to unmapped network drives



i do my math in my head
unless it involves more than 6 digit numbers, than i'll calc it (and i use the numberpad)

Easy on the Run commands, one a day for the newbies and for gods sake why would you give him "regedit", a potential disaster waiting to happen. He obviously is not ready for that kind of editing power, lol......;)

Yeah, pretty much every program i actually access regularly is in my quick launch.
Nothing to clutter the desktop then, & no searching thru 50 programs to find them.

Actually, I use both. I usually start with the mouse (because I will have just used the mouse to navigate to the calculator). Then, I realize I'm wasting a lot of time since I don't even have to look at the keys to type in numbers super fast.
