Poll: When you use Google, do you feel lucky a lot?

Do you use the "I'm feeling lucky" button very often?

Personally, I use it all the time. It usually brings me right where I want to go.

I never use it, when I search I usually search for whatever I'm looking for then open 3 or 4 results at the same time and quickly look over 'em all to find the best source.

I do the same thing in Mozilla, it is the only way I search. I can be at google.com (my home page) and I'll still just use the address bar.

can do the same with IE + powertoys for xp...

I use the google toolbar, so no.

BTW, are there any other search engines out there? EDIT: I thought that everyone bowed down to google? Or does Lycos use its own thing or something?

I've used it once or twice, but usually if I'm searching for something, I don't know a whole lot about it and pick vague words to get a wider choice of sites, so I don't feel lucky under such circumstances.

What I've found is that it's great when you know a big company name, so you try the obvious www.---.com, but it doesn't work. So you "I'm feeling lucky" the company name, and it will bring you right there.
