Poll: When you take a #2 at work, do you wipe the seat when you're done?

Unless it is visibly dirty, I don't usually wipe before or after.

On another note, for those who fear sitting on the toilet in the first place, what is the reason? Have you or anyone you personally know contracted anything or gotten sick because of uncleanliness? Are their statistics available that connect uncleanly toilet seats to disease? I have never heard a story of someone getting sick b/c they decided to drop a deuce on a public toilet.

flush
line with paper
drop kids off
flush
exit

That's a wastful extra flush...

wipe seat before
deuce
wipe seat
flush
(wash hands)
exit

wasteful? i'm not taking any chances with splashback from someone else's waste matter residue.

and by exit, i meant exit from the stall. i always, ALWAYS wash my hands.

you probably couldn't catch a disease by someone peeing on your bare hand or even sh!tting on it, but i'll be damned before i let anyone do that to me.

Agreed. But going through a routine that would make some biohazard engineers blush just to get a clean seat is absurd IMO. And absolutely refusing to go in public 😕???

Edit: Typo

i figure i'd rather take the few seconds just to banish the thought of sitting in someone else's excess 🙂.

and i only go in public if absolutely necessary. at that point i don't care what the conditions are like 😉

No wiping the seat here, but I do uses those tissue toilet seat things. I'm not sure if they do anything from a hygenic perspective but they do beat sitting on a freaking cold toilet seat 🙂
