Soon as I have the space and cash I will. Currently using a 21 inch Panasonic. Not a bad TV but our non digital cable channels look like crap on it. Not much better on my parents Sony.

In my small apartment my regular Magnovox suits me fine. Once I graduate college I hope to have the cash to buy a nice HDTV. No doubt the next TV I buy will be HD, its just a question of when I will do it.

I'm waiting for another year because I don't like broadcast stuff, and the 16x9 displays are still a bit pricey.

Well, when I can afford an X1, I'll be looking to buy either just a card for the current computer, or build an HTPC for HDTV and DVD playback. So in the next 6 months, I guess.

I choose 1-6 months. I have been looking at them for a few months. The only programming I can get for it is Time Warner HD channels which are HBO, Showtime, Discovery, ABC and CBS however I kind of question if I even want to pay for them since I hardly watch TV in the first place. I have a progressive DVD player (actually the tuner is screwed up so I will be buying another one of the same model and returning this one it its box). Also, almost every Xbox game is at least 480p so that will take advantage of the TV. I am starting to think I will just buy a VGA adapter for the Xbox, one that accepts HD signals so I can play Amped 2 at 720p when it comes out in a few months. Better $100 then $2000 but I bet if I buy an adapter, it will be something I try once and then ever touch again because I am too lazy to move the Xbox over here whenever I want to play it.

I have had an HD set for 3 years now. I am waiting for Comcast to come online with HD signal, which should be by the end of this year

Last thing I watched was some football games, a boxing fight, and before that, something on Discovery or TLC a few months ago.

Other than sports, mostly football, I get no more than 10 or 20 hours of TV a year. And that's pushing it!

Don't watch enough TV to make it worth replacing my current TV before it dies.
