Try to live with just picking one. If you like several types, feel free to post about it, but jsut pick the one you like most/listen to most often for the poll.

If you primarily listen to some specific sub-category of music, just choose the category that includes it (i.e., if you listen to punk rock, choose "modern rock")

Well "right now" I listen to:

Evanescence (all their un-heard of stuff is great)
MetallicA (everything from beginning to now)
Iced Earth (most of their stuff - thx to Eli)

EDIT>> You left out Metal, New Age, Nu-Metal (whatever that is)

Trance, Dance & House.

I guess we don't really use the term "electronic" in the UK, I guess they may fit into that?

Ugh using the word 'Eletronic' instead of 'trance' or 'dance' just brings a shiver down my spine, reminds me of that hideous 80's stuff...

Where is Metal? Rock doesn't qualify, because it's too soft.

I do like other types of music as well...many others...

I know it would fall under "modern rock," but I kind of think there should be a "college rock" category. I think that is a pretty broad yet fairly descriptive category.

Metal. The traditional stuff, like Metallica. Thick heavy guitars and crunchy power chords, bone rattling bass, and frantic drums, but minus the gothic face painted freaks scraming into their mic about bleeding to death and how the world is against them.
