I still haven't seen a movie that made me wet my pants yet...what is the most scary movie you have ever seen? I thought The Exorcist was not scary enough, Aliens didn't really scare me either...what have you got?

Best all time Si-Fi movie! John Carpenters "The Thing" you got to love a movie where everyone dies.

Urban Legend, it scared me, yes, i'm a wuss, plus there's some cute guys in it 😛 also it reminds me of my senior year in high school

No doubt: Gremlins.

I watched it (when I was still at the tender age of 5) around its release at the theater.... it alone caused my fear of the dark! After viewing it, I always slept with the covers pulled up over my head (as if that would deter beasties! 😉 ), and never dared to get up from bed, or move from whatever spot I happened to be, in the dark.

Sure, it's a bit of a dark comedy now. I laugh. But it was a long nightmare then. 🙁

The fear is quite cured now, fortunately, but the movie (and those creatures) left their mark. 😀

Se7en was a freaky movie because I believe that something like that could very likely happen. I also heard that the warlock is a really freaky movie, along with "The prophecy".

When I was 10 I watched Nightmare on Elm Street. It gave me nightmares and I was affraid of the dark for several years after...

I don't have a favorite "scary movie" but I understand the gist of your question.

Without a doubt, the most mentally scarring movie I've ever seen is any one of the Hellraiser movies. I saw the first one when I was a teenager. It carved deep ravines of mental pain into my cortex. Just the thought of beings like the Cenobites.....brrrrrrr....make me shiver!

If you take the time to learn what the Hellraiser series is about, and then watch each movie, understanding how each one builds and feeds off of the previous one, you'll understand. Clive Barker is a sick, twisted, demented genius.
