POLL: What's your favorite Green Day Album?

Your first choice is not an album.

They had an album called "39/Smooth"

They had 7" singles called "Slappy" and "1000 Hours" and "Sweet Children"

I like Kerplunk the best, but I've only heard the first two records ... and the radio singles.

Sorry, It's a CD (technically no other title I listed is an album either 😱)

I never liked them as a "punk" band (and I use that term loosely), but I really liked their folk-punk record (as I call it) Warning. Some excellent stuff on there, Billie Joe is more talented that he thinks.

Edit: btw what's your definition of "album" if you think none of them are albums? An album is an LP in any format, as opposed to an EP or single. And as deftron mentioned 39/Smooth was an LP, Slappy & 1000 Hrs. were EP's. What you have linked to there is just a reissue of the 3 together.

I would have to go with Kerplunk! since I have not heard all of Dookie (the other GD album I own is Nimrod which is OK).

Green Day f*cking rules...I have all of their albums, but Dookie's what started it all for me...I remember where I was the first time I saw the "Basket Case" music vid...that was before all the sh*t that happened to MTV. 🙂

I have to go with the first one I bought, which was 39/Smooth. I still have the vinyl. (as well as the vinyl for 1000 Hours, Slappy, and a couple of boots)

Second would have to be Insomniac. THAT is a great record. Kerplunk! after that, then Dookie/nimrod./Warning.

Overall, I they have been one of my favorite bands for 10+ years now.
