POLL: what's worse? pop ups, spam, junk mail or telemarketers?

If you keep your number unlisted, you very, very rarely ever get telemarketing calls.

But spam... There is no way out of that.

Junk mail is fine. Free paper. Buy a paper log compressor and you have free firewood.

Popups are easily blocked. But I hate the new flash popups that cannot be blocked :|

Yep, I get so few telemarketing calls that I didn't even bother to sign up for the "Do Not Call" List. I think I've gotten 1 in the last month or so. Who cares?
I don't get much spam to my main ISP addresses either. But these fscking flash pop-ups!! :|:|

yes but i still get them occasionally. i'd rather get 5 spam emails a day than get a telemarketing call every month. i hate the sound of telephone ringing esp if it's not for a good reason.

i dont think i've ever gotten a piece of spam in my most heavily used email accounts.

and a really really big hosts file.





hell, for 90% of my browsing, i dont see any advertisements except for that damn mushkin thing at the top.

If your email addy is unlisted you can get out of spam. Although its alot harder to keep it from being listed somewhere.

And i strongly agree about the flash popups, whoever invented them should be shot.
