Can I hear it for "LED lit exhaust tip"? :D

The second riciest thing I can think of is that whistle you put in your exhaust to make it sound like you've got a turbo

Those stupid ass asian characters. I bet 90% of the people that put them on their car don't even know what they mean.

For cheapest buy and easiest install, I'm going to have to go with a fartcan (LED lit, of course!) or a gigantic aluminum "racing" spoiler.

Edit - Decals might work, but you'd have to cover a good portion of the car in them to get the same attention as one of the above two, and by that point you lose the "cheaper" aspect. :p

Nothing's funnier than a gigantic spoiler that's not even the same color as the car.

Definately the stickers.
Most everything else you can KIND of see what might be going through their heads when they put it on the car. Like CF for weight, neon for shows, etc. Not justifying those, but stickers are the MOST useless of the useless.

I had some kids in my home town who decided that there cars didn't need paint so they ALL (5-6 kids) left them as grey primer for about 2 years...

I think the riciest thing is definately prying off the Honda logo and sticking a BMW one on there. COME ON GUYS, YOU AREN'T FOOLING ANYONE! NOT EVEN WOMEN!

BOV = blow off valve. A blow off valve is what vents air from the intake tract in turbo'd cars when you let off the gas and the throttle plate closes. Surely you've heard some car that make a little 'pssshhh' type sound when the driver shifts/lets off the gas. That's a BOV you're hearing.

Well, they've got fake ones that make the noise (although the fake ones sound like crap) so the ricers can feel like they're special and impress other people without actually being turbo'd. It's the most pathetic thing ever, hands down.

Edit: I completely forgot about the fake intercoolers. That's goes to second and the led exhaust tips gets pushed to third.

1989 in Dark Cherry Red (Maroon) wearing Plymouth badges. Exhaust that I borrowed from the other van and hacked up to fit, junkyarded PowerStroke intercooler, boost controller, removed sound deadener, air conditioning delete (had to make room for the intercooler).

Everything, of course, is stealth. The original exhaust tips are still there, my exhaust is hidden behind the bumper with the tip deflected downwards. Even the hail dents on the hood and baseball dents in the sliding door are still there.

Needs a lot more work, though.

That would be a "bypass valve", not "blow off valve". CART cars have a "pop-off valve", but this is NOT a wastegate but a device to be sure that the teams don't run too much boost, but when the pop-off valve opens all boost is lost and it is designed to pop off at a certain boost pressure so it can happen when on throttle.

I think it's putting Decals like " Type R, TRD etc.. on a car " that has nothing on it.

I remember seeing a Toyota Corolla 92 i think in maroon with so many TRD stickers it was so hilarious. I had like 3 other people in my car while getting into the parking deck. As soon as we saw it we started busting out laughing.
The guy in the Corolla saw us, and looked the other way.
