I hate AOL - switching from RoadRunner to DSL. No shared pipe, no AOLer's coming aboard to eat up the bandwidth.

oc3 rocks, i pulled from some one on an oc3 and it was like transfer files from one drive to another..

hmmm in 24 hours ...

i used to run an mp3 server a few years back (i was one of those people that liked to abuse college t3 ...) and i remember downloading close to 8GB from a single site in one day ...

since then i've been on a 1mbit dsl and now 4mbit down 128kbit up cable ...

with the DSL i never got more then about 5 or 6 GB in a day

and with the cable ... I've downloaded around 9 or 10 GB once or twice .. but usually only around a gig or two ...

This silly connection sucks.

DSL reports shows download at 3570 but upload at 7840.

Talk about half ass backwards! What good does all that upstream do?

It's not like I'm going to run a server or something!
