High end audio. Theres no other hobby where "enthusiasts" will drop thousands on a 2 meter speaker cable without batting an eye. Not to mention that high end speakers themselves generally START in the thousands and work their way up. Then theres source equipment, amplifiers, room treatments, building a listening room, and amassing a collection of lps and cds.

flying is actually quite a good investment (if you own a plane, duh). Unlike cars, airplanes actually appreciate in value instead of crapping out like your Toyota almost cracking the 200k mile mark :p

I would have to say flying is a pretty expensive hobby. Atomicus - flying is just as expensive if you own your own plane! And not all apprciate....

collecting fabrege eggs. man that gets expensive fast. the first one's always free, but man they get you on the subsequent ones.

Mile high sex with midgets and farm animals. Plane rental is expensive. So is midget rental for that matter.

For me my most expensive hobby is my RCs. Gas for my MT and buggy and Electric for flying.

once you get to a certain point with a car, you plateau. Sooo I would say drugs!

either women or cars...collecting cars can get expensive...especially if you want classic hard to find cars in your collection...

Computers could be expensive if you make it a hobby of always having the latest and greatest, but very few people can afford to do that.
